About WPShift
WPShift is a WordPress management platform. It runs WordPress on your own cloud, and handles the server work so you can stay in the dashboard instead of the terminal.
Why we built it
Running WordPress for clients means juggling servers. You spin up a box, harden it, tune Nginx and PHP, wire in a cache, set SSL, then do it again for the next site. The good server panels help with the box, then hand you an SSH prompt for everything WordPress-specific.
We wanted the whole job in one place: pick a cloud, deploy a server, install a site, and manage plugins, backups, email and DNS from the same screen. Not a black-box host that locks you in, and not a bare panel that stops at the operating system. Something in between, built specifically for WordPress.
So WPShift connects to the cloud you already use (DigitalOcean, Hetzner, Vultr, Linode, AWS EC2 or Google Cloud), or gives you WPShift Cloud when you would rather not think about servers at all. Either way, the sites are managed, and the infrastructure stays yours.
Three things we build around
Your cloud stays yours
You keep the account, the root access and the bill. WPShift is the layer on top, not a landlord.
WordPress deserves real tools
Managing WordPress should not mean SSH and guesswork. The common jobs belong in a dashboard.
Fast and boring by default
Cache, backups and SSL should just work. The interesting part is your sites, not the plumbing.
WPShift is in public beta
The platform is live and in active development. New capabilities ship regularly, and the roadmap is public. If something is missing or rough, we want to hear about it. That feedback is what beta is for.
